Maxxon Talon
The Talon reel is an extremely durable reel design, die cast, then machined to perfection. The large V-shaped arbor helps provide speedy
line recovery with a strong Rulon disc-drag system ensuring plenty of braking power. An excellent reel for the price and for beginning Stillwater anglers.

Maxxon XMX
Maybe the best reel for the price. A fully machined, large arbor reel constructed from heavy duty aluminum. Reel comes with a powerful Rulon
disc-drag system capable of handling big, trophy sized trout. This is a reel that should sell in the $300-400 range. A real steal for the price.

Maxxon SDX
The SDX reel is much like the XMX, only better. It comes in the same sizes and it is
now my number one reel that I employ in my own fishing. The smooth drag when
needed is as good as you will find on the market. Beautiful to look at and is as smooth
as any of the large arbor reels out there. A friend who works in the reel inducstry told me
that this reel is as good or better than a lot of reels that sell for much more. All the parts
are high quality and the reel is a steal for the price. Well, I agree and am glad to offer it
at a very reasonable price. If you are in the market for a reel for stillwater or even rivers
or streams, check this one out. You're going to like it.

Corltand's Sterling Mid-Arbor
(Discontinued - While Supplies Last)
Cortland's "Sterling"; Mid-Arbor reel may just be the best value in a fly reel today. And it may be just the reel for you. This feature packed beauty starts as a solid billet of 6061T6 aluminum. It’s then machined to exacting tolerances and hard anodized for lifetime durability in fresh or salt water. We add a fully enclosed, center mounted Rulon disc drag that will protect 7X tippets or stop a bonefish’s sizzling run. An exposed rim lets you palm the counterbalanced, quick release spool for even more control. The knurled bar stock drag knob is slip proof, even with wet, slimy, or cold fingers. Mid-Arbor design gives you maximum line capacity but still has all the benefits of rapid retrieve and reduced line coiling. All this performance is wrapped up in an attractive package. The distinct and dignified pewter anodize will compliment your finest fly rod. A lifetime warranty protects your investment, and best of all, there’s a “Sterling” for every angler and every fish!
