Fly Fishing Schools/Clinics
Fly Fishing Presentation and Fundamentals

Location: Diamond Lake Clinic

This clinic starts with instruction on presentation including lines, flies, terminal tackle set up, trout feeding zones, factors that affect trout behavior, locating fish and much more. The technical side will be held at Denny’s ranch in Fort Klamath, including lunch afterward. Then it’s and hour’s drive through Crater Lake National Park to Diamond Lake, just outside the park’s boundary.

Diamond Lake burst back into action in 2007 after the lake was killed off because of an overabundance of Tui Chubs. Rainbows should run 16-25 inches, with some fish reaching 6-8 pounds.

A floatation device is necessary to effectively fish the lake.
