Fly Fishing Fundamentals for Stillwater

Location: Hyde Lake, Yamsi Ranch, Chiloquin, Oregon
Date: Saturday, June 7 and July 5
Fees: The fee is $150.00.

This class is designed for those anglers wanting to expand their knowledge and learn the basic techniques for fly fishing stillwater.

The site of this one day outing is Hyde Lake, part of the Yamsi Ranch, located on the world famous Williamson River. Hyde Lake supports a large population of 18-24 inch, 3-6 pound overly aggressive rainbows. This is an excellent, lightly fished stillwater opportunity.

All areas of the stillwater challenge will be covered in depth with emphasis on lines, fly patterns, retrieves, fish locations and depths, along with the most common errors anglers make fishing stillwater.

Note: Float tubes or pontoon boats are recommended.
